Our teaching and research activities encompass many aspects of architectural history, theory, and criticism, with a particular focus on the local and national architectural traditions, transformations, and developments.

Ultimately, we hope our endeavors will further the ideals of architectural history, theory and criticism as an autochthonous field of study. We aim to use the knowledge on architectural history, theory, and criticism to comprehend the socio-cultural contexts surrounding architecture, and to inspire the process and production of architectural design par excellence.
