<\/span>1.\u00a0<\/span>Homotopy<\/span>\u00a0Groups of Complements of Complex Hyperplane Arrangements<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>One of the fundamental problems in topological study of polynomial function f<\/em> from\u00a0<\/span>C^l<\/span><\/em>\u00a0to C<\/em> is the computation of the\u00a0<\/span>homotopy<\/span>\u00a0groups of the complement of the hypersurface V(f)<\/em>. In this talk, we focus on the case where f<\/em> is a product of degree one polynomial. We will characterize the K(pi,1)<\/em>-spaces and we give some results about the\u00a0<\/span>homotopy<\/span>\u00a0for a large class.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>

<\/span>2. Witt Formula and Braid Groups<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>
<\/span>According to a classical result of\u00a0<\/span>W.Magnus<\/span>, the associated graded Lie algebra defined by the lower central series of a group, reflects many properties of the group. We will consider the pure braid groups which will be view as the fundamental group of the complement of a complex algebraic hypersurface. Finally we extend these results to a more general class of complex algebraic hypersurfaces.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
