Drilling Laboratory
The Drilling Laboratory focuses on measuring the physical and rheological properties of drilling mud, such as viscosity, yield point, gel strength, density and lubricity. In addition to drilling mud, measurements are also made on the cement mixture, such as measuring its consistency. This laboratory is used by third year students, with supervision from final year students.
