Practical Work Course (TM3000 Practical Work & Report Writing) is a compulsory subject with 1 credit load which can be taken in Semester V or VI. This course is conducted by carrying out practical work in the field of an oil company for approximately one month with the aim of acquainting students with operational activities and equipment in the petroleum industry.

From this course students are expected to know the work system in the oil and gas industry, the relationship between departments in increasing production within companies where practical work is carried out, know the operations of the oil and gas industry, know how to make technical reports correctly, be able to make technical reports on the results of practical work, and be able to carry out good presentation.

The report must be approved by the Practical Work supervisor. Assessment based on recommendations from field supervisors, reports and presentations made.

Students may submit a KP Cover Letter from Study Programs that have passed 91 credits (in semester V)
