Open Seminar Activity Report 2nd TA/Thesis Seminar
Study Program Geophysical Engineering Bandung Institute of Technology, Tuesday 21 June 2016, held the 2nd Final Assignment and Thesis Open Seminar for students who will graduate in July 2016. The Final Assignment and Thesis Open Seminar is a program aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students to present the results of studies while studying Geophysical Engineering in the form of oral and poster presentations. The themes of the orals and posters presented represented various fields of geophysical science, including global geophysics, applied and exploration geophysics, as well as exploration and engineering seismology.
The ITB Geophysical Engineering Final Project and Thesis Open Seminar was opened by the head of the Geophysical Engineering study program, Dr. Andri Dian Nugraha, S.Si., M.Si. A total of 7 oral presentation participants and 14 poster presentation participants participated in this event, where the oral presentation participants were: Khalid I. Syaifullah, S.T.; Muthia J.M. S.T.; Rexha Verdhora RY M.T.; Diaz Nurazna P. S.T.; M. Syarif A. M.T.; Madaniya M.T.; Iqbal Fauzi A. S.T.
Oral presentation participants were given 12 minutes each to present the results of their research and 3 minutes for the question and answer session. After the oral presentation session was completed, it was continued with a poster presentation session which lasted for 90 minutes. Lecturers and active students of ITB Geophysical Engineering also participated in this session by asking questions to the Final Project and Thesis Open Seminar participants.
As a form of appreciation for all participants, the best oral presentation participants and the best poster presentation participants were selected based on various assessment criteria. The Final Project and Thesis Open Seminar then closed by giving certificates to all participants and announcing the best oral and poster presentations. The best oral presentation was Madaniya M.T. and the best presentation poster was Gierry Helvan M.T.
It is hoped that by the end of this event, ITB Geophysical Engineering students will continue to work and in the future will make the name of the Indonesian nation proud.
