ABOUT US

Undergraduate Environmental Engineering ITB is a higher education institution and the center of science and technology development which has a competitive advantage, reliable and dignified in the field of engineering and management, especially in settlements, industrial, mining, oil and gas, as well as environment related to the built environment .

CURRICULUM

Curriculum of Environmental Engineering Study Program as follows

OBJECTIVE

COMPETENCE: Keeping pace with development of environmental technology and having awareness in social dynamics related to the environmental issues.
APPLICATION: Demonstrating high capability in applying Environmental Engineering knowledge to deal with environmental problems in engineering profession.
SOCIAL: Having basic engineering knowledge & skill to observe, identify, and understand environmental issues and to pursue higher education

FIELD STUDY

Water supply
Environmental health management including occupational safety & health
Pollution control starts from the source of the pollution until the waste is formed
Technology for controlling and managing wastewater, gas and solid waste
Distribution of wastewater and waste
Conservation of water resources
Environmental Management (Environment System Management)
Health risk assessment and Ecological risk assessment

ACADEMIC STAFF

Environmental Engineering Study Program is supported by 49 teaching staff from 3 Expert Groups (KK) in FTSL, namely Water & Waste Engineering KK (RALC), Air & Waste Management (PUL), and Environmental Management Technology (TPL), with S3 education qualifications (39 people), S2 (10 people), and 6 of them are professors.

FACILITY

Environmental Engineering Study Program has 5 qualified laboratories, namely Water Quality Laboratory, Water Treatment Engineering Laboratory, Solid and Hazardous Waste Laboratory, Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology Laboratory, and Air Quality Laboratory. Other facilities such as academic administration office, library, internet access, computer room, multimedia room, book store, sport centre, medical centre, canteen, conference hall, student lounge are provided to support the academic activities.

ITB Environmental Engineering graduates have career prospects in various fields including government agencies such as the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of National Development Planning, professional services such as national and international consultants, multinational companies contractors, and academics such as lecturers researchers and many more.
